16/01/2009 : Happy Birthday and Welcome Anime DiD!ö
Hey! Hi all! I don't write this journal very often (I mean never, lol), but this is special: DidVideoDB.com is one year old! many happy returns! I want to thank you all people who trusted the didvideodb DVDs last year and I hope you enjoy them. More to come, DVD#6 is near! I would take this opportunity to tell you that the new site is out and already. This will be devoted to 'damsels in distress' from the animated mainstream (anime, cartoon, you know). 'Anime DiD Video Database' will work the same way as this site: no caps, online clips, regular updates... Enjoy! Here's the link: 
08/01/2008 : Features and future plans. Hi. I will describe in a few words what's going on with the sections: The main change is the fact that there's no cartoon/anime section. If you're a anime didfan don't worry. I will open a different site dedicated to it soon. I don't know when, I hope soon. There's no comic nor doujinshi sections either. I think these sections don't match on the new site's philosophy and takes much time (time that I don't have by the way). You can leave comments on scenes/damsels. You can rate'em and put your favourite scenes or damsels on the top 10 ranking. Perhaps in a future I will add full user integration, you know, like youtube, with favourites and these stuff. Time will tell.
07/01/2008 : New wave. Hello all. Welcome to the new shape of 'Scythe DiDs'. The reasons of the old site to dissapearing are quite simple: lack of time. So, I didn't renew the hosting payment. After 4 months I was able to find some time to optimize the site and come back. If you are an old visitor you realized about lots of changes here: new sections, no didcaps, more scene organization and more interaction with the site. I hope you like the new face the 'Scythe DiDs'. From now on I will post here any changes or news about the site. |
